Obtaining a mortgage can seem overwhelming. It is my mission to ensure that you are confident about the entire process. Basically, there are 5 simple steps for the borrower to complete in the loan process:
- Determine Type of Financing
I will work with you to determine the type of financing that is best for your situation (e.g.: 15 or 30 year fixed, 100% financing, ARM, etc.).
- Gather Documentation
Based on our initial conversation, I will provide you with a list of documents that you should bring to your loan application or forward to me.
- Make Application
This is the process of completing a uniform residential loan application and providing you with documentation including an estimate of settlement expenses. I will complete the paperwork for you and answer any questions you may have.
- Prepare for Closing
You will need to contact a settlement attorney and a home-owners hazard insurance agent. I will be glad to recommend a settlement attorney or an insurance agent, if you need one. I will then coordinate directly with your agents to have the necessary documentation prepared.
- Close
I provide you with information regarding the amount of funds, if any, you will need to bring by a certified check to settlement. If you have questions during settlement, I will make myself available to answer them.
